Samantha is currently a 2nd year optometry student at Southern College of Optometry (SCO) in Memphis, TN. She obtained her Bachelor's of Science degree in Dietetics from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. While at UW-Madison, Samantha was an undergraduate researcher at the VA in the Swallow Lab. Her continued passion for research has led her to get involved in clinical optometric research now at SCO. In Samantha's future, she hopes to combine her background in dietetics with her career as an optometrist.
