PROJECTS
Project 1: Flier for a Study Jam in the BioCommons
One of my responsibilities as a BioCommons Ambassador was to make fliers to advertise events that happen in the BioCommons space. This is an example from one of the study jams we held during finals weeks for students to get free food and help with tutoring if needed.
Project 2: Lunch N' Learn Presentation on Winter Produce
I worked with Carly Edson and Melaney Van Spankeren to produce a presentation to the UW-Madison community on winter produce representing the Dietetics and Nutrition Club. The premise of this presentation was to inform people on how to get nutrients from fruits and vegetables during the cold winter months.
Project 3: Flier for Caregiver Event with Alzheimer's Association
I collaborated with Bonnie Nutt and Jessica Kreuser to plan an event to bring caregivers together during the month of November. This is a flier I assisted in designing to advertise the event.
Project 4: Dysphagia and Dementia Poster
This poster is from my time in the Undergraduate Research Scholars Program. During this time I worked with Dr. Nicole Pulia to develop a hypothesis, test it, and make conclusions. The experiment tested the feasibility of a novel tongue strengthening device in patients with dementia.
